Terms of service

What this is

A place to show projects you have built and to post updates about building them. Your profile, your projects, and the updates on them — that is the whole thing.

Your account

Signing in uses GitHub, and it is the only way in. builderstack reads your public GitHub profile and nothing else — it cannot see your repositories, public or private.

You need to be at least 13. One person, one account. Your profile lives at builderstack.dev/your-username, and changing your username breaks every link anyone has shared to your projects.

Your content

What you post stays yours. Publishing it gives builderstack permission to store and show it, and nothing more — that ends when you delete it.

A published project is visible to anyone on the internet, including search engines. Do not publish anything you would not want public.

What you may not do

Do not post anything illegal or malicious, or anything that harasses or impersonates someone. Do not pass off someone else’s work as yours. Do not attack or scrape the site.

Removing things

You can delete your account at any time. Your profile, projects and updates stay up for 30 days, so signing back in cancels it; after that they are erased. Content that breaks these terms can be removed too — there is no report queue yet, so that means telling the maintainer and it being done by hand.

No promises

builderstack is provided as it is, with no warranty. It may be slow, it may be down, features may change, and data loss is possible — keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. These terms will change as the project does.
